Hi, I'm Jennifer (@jenwenthere_) the founder of Black Travel Buddies. I'm the girl on the go who is always popping up in a new country. My passion for travel began later in life when I joined the Army and received orders to go to Germany. Before that, I had never been out of the country and I didn't travel much. That plane ride to a new continent started my travel journey and I haven't stopped exploring since. 

 

During my years of traveling, researching, and connecting with other travelers; I have learned a lot about what holds people back from traveling. One of the main things is not being able to find anyone to travel with. I have done solo travel and while I enjoy it, there is still something special about turning to your travel partner and sharing a moment about your experience. So I decided to create a group where people who looked like me and had the same passion as me could connect to see the world together. Come find your squad and book that trip!
